PROVIDING HALF THE WORLD'S LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS
Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) processes are highly attractive economically, and are possible only through extensive use of compressors and turbines. Elliott compressors were supplied to the world's first base-load LNG plant, and today our compressors continue playing a major role in this industry, producing nearly half of the world's LNG output. Our turbines and compressors are used widely for both low pressure and high pressure mixed refrigeration and for propane refrigeration.
Mixed refrigerant compressor for a LNG plant
Whether a customer is looking for base-load or peak-shaving facilities, Elliott's experience and design advantages provide reliable performance in any type of process: cascade, mixed refrigerant, or propane/mixed refrigerant. In addition to base-load and peak-shaving applications, Elliott has been a prime supplier of very low temperature compressors for LNG boil-off service.
