Elliott steam turbines are noted for their rugged reliability, versatility in demanding applications, and smoothness of operation, which makes them an ideal choice to drive equipment required for many industrial processes and electric power generation.
Single-valve, single-stage, general-purpose YR turbines have a reputation for highest quality and reliability. Available in ratings up to 3500 hp (2611 kW), the YR turbine is used to drive equipment such as pumps, fans, compressors, shredders, generators and other machinery for continuous or standby service.
Mulit-stage YR Turbine
The PYR single-stage steam turbine is now available for low power duties in a variety of plants. Rated up to 200 hp (150 kW) at speeds to 5000 rpm, for input steam pressures to 600 psig and temperatures to 752 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Class IV BYR turbine is rated for speeds up to 16,000 rpm and is ideal for applications involving high speed compressors, pumps and other rotating equipment.
Multi-stage Turbine
For higher steam flow and greater power, Elliott single-valve, multistage turbines are available up to 10,000 hp (7460 kW). The B-Line turbine is offered for speeds to 16,000 rpm, and the MYR and E-Line turbines for lower speeds. These turbines are ideal to drive process compressors, generators and high-horsepower pumps and fans.
For the largest turbine applications, the multistage-multivalve turbines are offered with horsepower ratings to 100,000 hp (74,560 kW), speeds to 16,000 rpm, and options for extraction and/or induction flow.
TH Expander
The TH power recovery expander turbine is available to utilize the energy in high temperature, low pressure gas streams to drive centrifugal or axial compressors and/or generators in refinery fluid catalytic-cracking (FCC) service. Recovery powers for these applications can approach 50,000 hp (37,300 kW). Elliott has been a leader in this field since the 1950's.
Elliott Digital System PLUS
The Elliott Digital System PLUS (EDS+) is a programmable logic controller-based management system for superior single-point turbomachinery management, including monitoring, controlling, generating trends, record keeping and equipment support.
