Rerates & Upgrades
Maximizing the value of your turbomachinery investment

Elliott maximizes your long-term investment in rotating equipment, whether manufactured by Elliott or any other OEM. Even well maintained turbomachinery in good operating condition can be made obsolete by advances in technology, design, materials or plant capacity. Replacing this equipment with new machines is costly and requires long lead-times.

Through rerates, upgrades or reapplications Elliott can extend the life of centrifugal compressors and steam turbines from any OEM, quickly and affordably, in your plant or in our global network of service shops.  Drawing upon 100 years of engineering, manufacturing and service experience, Elliott modernizes rotating equipment anywhere in the world to improve operating efficiency, reduce operating costs and support increased plant capacity.

Site Audits
Performance analysis to improve efficiency

When it comes to evaluating the efficiency and operating performance of rotating equipment, Elliott stands alone. Elliott engineers are responsible for many of the developments in design, materials and manufacturing that define the state-of-the-art in turbomachinery today.

An Elliott site audit enables equipment operators to draw upon Elliott’s experience and expertise to evaluate the performance of their installed turbomachinery and to provide solutions to existing process problems.  Elliott Site Audit Engineer also assess installed turbomachinery to identify opportunities for process enhancement.

Elliott offers two categories of site audits - Phase I and Phase II.  Both types of site audits focus on technical issues or enhancements identified by the customer such as equipment efficiency, reliability, ease of operation, maintenance, safety, performance and output.

  • Phase I site audits consist of a 'no charge' site visit of one to two days, with a cursory equipment review.
  • Customers pay a fee for Phase II site audits which are more detailed and involve a site visit of four to five days duration.
