Elliott Group Appoints Vice President of Human Resources

Jeannette, PA – Elliott Group has announced that Mark Cain has joined the company as Vice President of Human Resources, 
effective May 1, 2017. Cain, who brings three decades of executive human resources (HR) management experience to Elliott, 
will report directly to Chief Operating Officer, Michael Lordi.

Announcing the appointment, Lordi said, “A skilled, engaged, and highly motivated workforce is critical to Elliott’s ongoing
success as a global rotating equipment manufacturer. Mark’s extensive experience and proven track record in leading human 
resource teams at several world-class manufacturing organizations is a strong fit for Elliott. He has the knowledge, energy, and 
vision to drive HR synergies and best practices with our current workforce, and to attract and inspire our future workforce.”

As a key member of the executive team, Cain will oversee Elliott’s global HR practices, policies, and operations including labor 
relations, compensation and benefits, training, talent acquisition, and leadership development.   “I look forward to working 
with Elliott’s leadership team and employees to direct Elliott’s global HR strategy, and to support and strengthen its 
collaborative culture,” said Cain. 

Cain succeeds Brian Lapp, who retired after ten years with Elliott.

Mark Cain Biographical Information

Mr. Cain joins Elliott after 13 years with Sypris Technologies in Louisville, Kentucky, where he was Vice President of Human 
Resources.  Prior to Sypris, he spent eight years as Vice President of Human Resources at Henry Vogt Machine Company, and 
eight years in senior human resources roles at three successor companies to Henry Vogt including BTR, Seibe-Invensys, and 
Flowserve. He holds a master’s degree in human resources / labor relations from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.
